between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

The Membership Committee meets monthly with focus on recruiting and supporting League members.
The League of Women Voters is dedicated to educating voters so they can make informed decisions. As part of our mission, we offer Speakers Bureau presentations at no cost to the community. Interested members are welcome to attend our meetings.

This Justice Social will focus on how we can increase voter turnout in the forthcoming elections. We will hear/learn from The SEE ALLIANCE, the LWV Sarasota, and Sarasota Sister Cities on their initiatives to increase voter turnout. We will also hear and learn from CATA about the how to and importance of having ‘conversations across the aisle’!

Get to know your league! To enhance communication and foster transparency across all our chapter activities, we’re launching a monthly Zoom call.
The goal of this team is to support Sarasota‘s public schools. We do this by keeping the public informed and asking that they advocate for/against important education legislation. We monitor Sarasota’s school board to improve its governance practices and increase its responsiveness to public concerns.
This is where the rubber meets the road! Always looking for creative and thoughtful members. We support the League‘s mission by offering events that engage our members and inform the public. Please join us!
