About this event

Beyond the Classroom Live-streamed

Sarasota County School's "A" rating fails to reflect the most challenging issues facing our district schools today.  Our Education Action Team's School Board 'Report Cards' document a litany of concerns that have been voiced repeatedly and been ignored.  Just recently a resolution affirming cooperation with ICE brought out hundreds of speakers, including students, who spoke in opposition.

Our panel discussion, moderated by Jill Lewis-Spector Ed.D,  will include Holly Bullard, Lucas Carpenter ,  Deborrah Hays,   Norman Olshansky and  Jody Oseola . All of our speakers have been invited due to their expertise in one of the topics to be discussed.

  • Vouchers
  • Student experiences
  • Schools of Hope
  • Separation of Church and State
  • Parental engagement
Learn about these issues, the advocacy being done  and what you can do to protect our schools.
Attend in person or live-stream.  Registration required.
