Defending Democracy

The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County Advocacy Fund works to influence government policy on issues aligned with LWVUS positions. These positions cover voting rights and election reform, public school education, defense of democracy and the rule of law, reproductive freedom and more. We encourage activism by sending Action Alerts on pending or proposed legislation, holding rallies, and hosting thought provoking panel discussions and insightful speakers.

The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County is an advocacy group organized as a 501(c)(4) entity. Your donation will be used to support non-partisan advocacy actions. Advocacy donations are not tax-deductible.

LWV Sarasota County Education Fund

Empowering Voters

The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County Education Fund works to inform voters and help them register. We encourage civic engagement by giving voters the information they need. Our services include Speakers Bureau presentations, educational programs, reports on County Commission, School and Hospital Board meetings, young adult outreach, Candidate Forums, Voter Guides, and vote411.org.

The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your Donation is 100% tax-deductible and will be used to provide non-partisan voter services and education.
