Do you support having clinicians on the board? Please explain your answer.
Yes. The board has had clinicians serve in the past and would be welcome to serve in the future. The board is elected from the citizens of Sarasota County and all citizens are welcome to run for office.
How would you propose expanding mental health services to Sarasota’s uninsured?
That is a good questions, and I am not sure I have an answer for it. I would ask for input from the medical community, mental health providers, and hospital administrators on how best to address this problem.
