The following Sarasota County municipalities will hold elections on March 14:
• City of North Port Special Primary
• City of Sarasota First Election
• Town of LBK General Election
In North Port, voters will decide the City of North Port Commissioner, District Seat 4. In Sarasota, the City of Sarasota Commissioner, At Large will be on the ballot. And on Longboat, voters will weigh in on the Town of Longboat Key Commissioner, Dist. 2, Dist.4, and At Large.
February 13 is the Voter Registration Deadline for March 14 Elections. All new or updated registrations must be completed by this date. Make sure your address, signature, name etc. are correct by checking your registration at SarasotaVotes.com. Registration can be done in person at SOE offices, Sarasota County libraries, other county offices or you can download and print the form online and mail it in.
Any voter can vote by mail. To request a mail-in ballot, call the SOE office at 941-861-8600, or online at SarasotaVotes.com.
Early voting for the March 14 Elections will be held Mar 6-11, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at Supervisor of Elections offices in Sarasota, North Port and LBK Town Hall.
Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
